BMW 3-Series starts celebrating 50 years with a China-only special

The BMW 3-Series is turning half a century old this year, which means there will be special editions released all around the world. China gets one first this time around.

Customers can choose from two exterior colors (grey and purple), two 19-inch wheel designs (both exclusive to this batch) and a special edition badge on the b-pillar. More badging can be found in the cabin, which boasts a lavish leather/Alcantara trim with a large number ‘3’ embossed into the headrests.

Only 2,500 examples will be available on the Chinese market. Later on, BMW plans to reveal similar editions for its other key markets.
