Encore RV, a US-based vendor of camping equipment, has unveiled a rather unusual and clever-looking accessory for trailer park occupants: a compact box containing a pop-up shower and toilet cabin.
The company argues that people taking their habitual morning shower may have reasons not to do so in front of their camping trailer. Same goes for answering the call of nature: running off into the woods every time just isn’t how many of us prefer to do it. Having a convenient pop-up tent for both morning routines is therefore valuable.
According to Encore RV, the cabin only takes several seconds to unfold and has 210 cm (almost 7 feet) of headroom when fully raised. All structural parts coming into contact with water are made of aluminum, mesh-covered windows with zip locks are provided for ventilation, and the floor is lined with an anti-slip material. A waterproof light is provided as well, and you can even source warm water for the shower from the trailer’s boiler.
At the moment, the pop-up bathroom seems to be offered exclusively with the company’s ROG 12RK-FB trailer model. It’s already available for ordering from $34,500.
