Audi gurus work their tuning magic on a Lambo Urus

The ultra-deluxe Lamborghini Urus SE shares many of its components with the Audi RS Q8, so ABT Sportsline reasoned it would make a nice project car for those able to afford it.

As you may remember, the regular Urus SE hybrid combines a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 with an electric motor for 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque. This is enough to send the bulky SUV from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds.

In its ABT form, the luxobarge uses largely software-based tuning to pump out 910 PS (898 hp / 669 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque. However, the German tuner stresses that this isn’t the limit: another stage is currently in development that can extract up to 1,000 PS (986 hp / 735 kW) from the same powertrain.

Aside from the power boost, the company’s catalog for the Urus lists a carbon-fiber body kit. It comprises a front splitter, aerodynamic side sill extensions, fender flares, and a rather tame-looking tailgate spoiler. Custom forged wheels are available upon request, too.
