Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade

Car Tuning
Legacy Overland, a U.S. company specializing in old-school off-roader restoration, has presented a particularly clean and attractive restomod of what once was a rusted-through 1987 Land Rover Defender 110. The car pretty much went from scrap metal to as-new.
The tuners had to rear down the entire SUV, replace all body panels, rebuild the chassis and overhaul the engine and transmission from the ground up. They managed to keep the Defender’s stock turbo diesel engine alive and running in tandem with a four-speed auto transmission, but added modern differentials for improved traction. 18-inch aftermarket wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires, as well as upgraded suspension and brakes rounded off the technical modifications.
A peek inside the cabin reveals heated front seats, black leather all around, a new instrument cluster, a different steering wheel and a Sony multimedia system with Apple CarPlay support. Unlike some other restomods, this one makes do without any electronic assist features, so it should handle more like a classic SUV than a modern one.
Legacy Overland hasn’t mentioned the pricing, but you can always contact them for a quotation.
