2027 McLaren GTS Continues as Grand Tourer

The 2027 McLaren GTS is expected to remain largely unchanged from its current iteration. This model aims to blend supercar performance with grand touring amenities, utilizing McLaren's carbon construction and motorsports heritage.

The GTS is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine, producing 626 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, delivering power to the rear wheels. The vehicle includes launch control and various driving modes to adjust handling. An adaptive suspension system is standard, designed to balance performance dynamics with daily driving comfort.

Inside, the two-seater cabin offers standard Nappa leather upholstery, with semi-aniline leather as an available upgrade. An optional panoramic glass roof can feature an electrochromic function, allowing it to switch transparency levels. The infotainment system includes a 7.0-inch portrait-style touchscreen, a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, SiriusXM satellite radio, and navigation. A 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system is optional. However, smartphone mirroring functionality is not available.

Cargo capacity is noted as generous for its class, with a 15-cubic-foot luggage bay in the rear and an additional 5 cubic feet in the front trunk, totaling 20 cubic feet. Driver-assistance features such as blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and forward-collision warning are not offered with the GTS.
