Car Tuning
Built with the Mercedes-Benz 500E as a starting point, the Brabus W124 6.0 counts among the most popular Brabus cars ever made. It came out in 1994, but is still highly sought after by car collectors. One of these has recently been spotted somewhere in Russia.
As stated above, the car was built upon the highest trim of the Mercedes-Benz 500E, which used to be manufactured by Porsche back at the time. Compared to the 500E, the Brabus W124 6.0 features exclusive five-spoke wheels, twin exhaust pipes and Brabus logos throughout the body.
The interior of the vehicle makes use of natural wood and houses highly ergonomic seats.
The tuner team has also reworked the suspension and improved the five-liter engine of the car, expanding its volume to six liters and replacing most of the components with their performance-oriented counterparts. As a result, the car gained 82 hp (61 kW) and now commands 408 hp (304 kW). It accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.5 seconds and tops out at 254 km/h (158 mph).
