Nissan rapid-fires new car teasers

Nissan has shared several images of the cars it plans to launch worldwide before the end of 2027.

The next-generation Micra will be the first to arrive, slated to go on sale in Europe this year. It will be fully electric with Renault 5 E-Tech underpinnings and shipping with two battery sizes – 40 and 52 kilowatt-hours. The bigger pack will take you 400 km (248 miles) per charge.

Another premiere scheduled for the current year is a next-gen Nissan Leaf. It will arrive based on a proprietary platform that pioneered with the Ariya model. The company says we will learn more about it in June, and the production will start in Q3. The new Leaf will be an international release with Japan, EU and the United States listed among the main markets.

Another generation of the Nissan Juke is slated for 2026. While not official, sources speculate that it may be based on the automaker’s Hyper Punk Concept. What we do know is that it will benefit from a new generation of the e-Power powertrain, just like the upcoming Nissan Qashqai.

Other models mentioned in the release schedule include a facelifted Pathfinder, a next-gen Sentra and an unnamed SUV EV for North America.

In turn, Infiniti will be releasing the QX65 coupe-SUV and an electric car inspired by the Vision QXe Concept.
