Galpin-tuned Ford Bronco hits charity auction

Galpin Auto Sports attended the last year’s SEMA show with a uniquely tuned Ford Bronco SUV. The expedition-ready off-roader is now being auctioned at Bring-a-Trailer with the top bid at $81,000 and only several hours left.

Co-designed between the Galpin team and rock band Imagine Dragons, the car wears a green livery with gold accents on the front grille and the roof. It rides on 17-inch Fifteen52 wheels and has stainless-steel protection all around for serious off-roading. Widened arches, LED lighting all around and recovery eyes make it look really capable off the grid.

It’s not just about the looks, either. The suspension benefits from Bilstein shocks, Camburg control arms and new sway bars to provide a better experience on rough terrain, and the brakes at the front use Wilwood calipers. A Recon Recovery Kexaa tent on the roof comes with a convenient access ladder, and there is also an awning for picnics out in the open. Aside from the tent, the roof box manages to fit some folding chairs and a full-fledged fire/grill set.

Other than that, the SUV corresponds to the Badlands spec and has an interior wrapped in soft Katzkin leather. The trunk area contains an organizer with many drawers, a flip-down picnic table, and a fridge with a freezer.

Whoever buys this SEMA Bronco will be getting a Hero Firefly guitar along with it, signed by all Imagine Dragons members. The profits will be donated to a foundation that helps fight child cancer.
