Car Tuning
Bring-a-Trailer has posted a sale ad for this 2013 Toyota Tundra pickup in CrewMax form with the TRD package installed. Its previous owner must have hoped to survive a zombie apocalypse in it, at the very least.
The entire car was tastefully redesigned to look like a military vehicle of sorts, what with all the assorted rivets and bolts. It rides on a custom suspension kit that gives it 180 mm (7 inches) of extra ground clearance and benefits from an additional body lift of 76 mm (3 inches). 20-inch Fuel Hostage Beadlocks fill out the rims nicely with their 37-inch off-road tires. Wrapping up the badass SUV impression are a spare wheel at the back, multiple antennas, plenty of extra lighting, and hook-on fuel canisters.
The interior basically corresponds to the Comfort trim level with additions including a fire extinguishing system, a safety cage, a megaphone, all-weather mats and a new gear selector. The dashboard has a couple new instruments to show, and a tablet holder sits directly to the right.
The extreme Tundra still draws its power from the stock 5.7-liter V8 hooked up onto six-speed automatic transmission and electronic AWD system.
