2027 Honda Fit lands in Japan

The refreshed Honda Fit lineup for the domestic market will be obtainable in four trim variants called X, Z, RS, and Crosstar.

The sports-themed RS seen as the red compact van in the gallery above has changed the most. It received glossy black exterior trim instead of matte, matching black wheels and a number of darker interior accents. To liven things up, Honda added red contrast stitching to the door panels and the steering wheel. Windows all around were tinted against IR and UV radiation.

The Z spec ended up with the same new bumpers and steering wheel as the RS, plus an optional surround-view camera package. The Crosstar got the window tints and a heated steering wheel rim, but that’s about it.

In its new model year, the Honda Fit continues to rely on a 1.5-liter petrol engine producing 118 PS (116 hp / 87 kW) in non-hybrid form. Paying extra for the hybrid version improves fuel economy while keeping the output largely unchanged at 122 PS (120 hp / 90 kW). The drive is on the front wheels by default, but AWD is available, too.
