2025 Chery Arrizo 8 touches down in China

Chery has rolled out the new Arrizo 8 sedan for the domestic market, reports AutoHome.cn. It will go on sale side-by-side with the pre-facelift car and will be called “Arrizo 8 Pro” to help differentiate it from the old version.

There are changes both on the outside and inside, but mostly on the outside. The headlights look more understated now, the taillights boast new light signatures, and the hood cover is new. The radiator grille is now octagonal instead of trapezoid, which makes the new Arrizo 8 look related to all recent Chery SUVs.

Inside, two separate displays instead of one solid LCD panel is the biggest change. The screen in the middle is 15.6 inches large and connected to a modern infotainment system running on a modern Snapdragon 8155 chipset. The steering wheel retains its usual shape but gets additional capacitive buttons. Chery also mentions higher-quality trim on the door panels and seats.

It doesn’t look like there were any powertrain tweaks. In its current form, the Arrizo 8 lineup is available with just two petrol engines. The 1.6-liter one produces 197 PS (194 hp / 145 kW), and the 2.0-liter one makes 254 PS (251 hp / 187 kW).
