Dacia announces a sub-€20k EV
The Romanian automaker plans to offer its next compact electric car starting from €18,000 or so.
It is slated for production at one of the Renault Group factories in Europe in 2027. The new EV will gradually phase out the Dacia Spring hatchback made in China, the company says.
The car will be based on the same unibody platform as the Renault Twingo (see video), but will feature an all-new body design.
