Carlex Design unwrap a rolling work of art worth $3.5M

The Polish car customization boutique has completed another ultra-deluxe Mercedes-AMG G-Class for a V.I.P. client: the G-Stallion.

Carlex says it had to rebuild the body from the ground up, replacing most panels with bespoke ones decorated by hand. Without a doubt, the biggest effort here is the image of a horse on the roof, which alone took more than 3,000 hours to apply. From what little the photos reveal, the rest of the off-roader received a widebody kit.

Granted, it’s the interior that’s the focus this time around. The entire passenger space has been wrapped in weathered marron leather with some suede details and more hand-applied ornaments. All former plastic trims are now made of fine metal, and there are numerous badges and signatures all around to remind the owner that this is a bespoke vehicle with no equal in the world.

Unsurprisingly for such a time investment, a G-Class like this will set you back around €3,000,000 in Europe. That’s around $3,500,000 in U.S. dollars. Interestingly, Carlex says the G-Stallion still has no owner, so it will be up for grabs at the upcoming International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
