Tesla books a Warner Bros studio to unveil robotaxi

The fully autonomous (“robotic”) taxi that Tesla Inc. had teased us with for a few years now will officially debut in an unusual venue on October 10.

The company chose the filming studio of Warner Bros as the destination for the premiere. The idea is to make the taxi drive itself around stage props depicting a real city complete with intersections, crosswalks and other road infrastructure objects.

No details have been revealed about the car itself so far.
