Reports: Dodge hurries ICE Charger to the market amidst low EV sales

The gas-powered Dodge Charger will be coming sooner than expected, but the all-electric Daytona version will still be the first to arrive at the end of the year.

Dodge had originally planned to launch the Dayton EV in late 2024 and follow up with a traditional fuel car in late 2025 – a whole year after that one. The media are now receiving numerous unofficial reports that Stellantis wants to hurry up with the ICE Charger and deliver it as soon as June 2025.

It will allegedly debut in an edition called Sixpack with a 30-liter turbocharged inline-six under the hood. We are told that the demand for the gas-powered Charger model exceeded the company’s expectations by a wide margin, while the EV fell rather short.
