Abflug-bodied Toyota Supra crops up on sale for ~£25k
Iconic Auctioneers is selling a rare tuned 1993 Toyota A80 Supra in the UK right now. The sports car rocks a body kit from Japanese tuning company Abflug and is expected to go for £20,000–25,000.
The fourth-gen Supra looks rather outlandish and borderline unrecognizable in this weird body kit. The whole front end is completely new, the sides are generously widened, the grille, the anti-fog lamps and the air intakes look nothing like stock, and the suspension is slammed. The rear end is just as bizarre with a tacked-on diffuser and a ducktail spoiler. The entire aero kit comes painted in white like the rest of the car, with only the mirror caps offset in carbon.
A peek inside reveals additional “racing” gauges mounted at the right a-pillar, a bizarrely malformed steering wheel and Ripspeed safety harnesses, among other things. The stock 2JZ-GTE turbo six-pot continues its duty under the hood and churns out around 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW), according to the seller. Nonetheless, a true driver’s car this Supra is not: it has a four-speed automatic for transmission.
The ride is now being offered with 121,000 km (75,000 miles) on the odometer. The auction closes on December 7, and the bids are hidden, so your only option is to make an offer and wait.
