Reports: Changan and Dongfeng considering a merger deal
The two Chinese automotive corporations have simultaneously announced a reorganization of their management structures.
Both companies partially belong to the Government of China. This gives the local media grounds to suppose that Dongfeng and Changan may be preparing to merge into one corporation.
Neither party has issued an official comment yet, but the stock market has visibly reacted to the news with the valuation of both companies going up.
