ICE Dodge Charger comes back for 2026

Dodge has disclosed the full pricing for the new gas-powered Charger lineup, and it’s nothing but good news for ICE muscle car enthusiasts.

The Charger Sixpack R/T comes equipped with a turbocharged six-cylinder engine that you can order in two specifications called S.O. (Standard Output) and H.O. (High Output). The former delivers 426 PS (420 hp / 313 kW) and 635 Nm (468 lb-ft) of torque, while the latter produces 557 PS (550 hp / 410 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft). A Torqueflight eight-speed automatic transmission sends the momentum to all four wheels, but can be switched into RWD mode for drifting.

This version starts from U.S. $51,990 including the $1,995 destination fee. Opting for High Output is $5,000 extra. It’s still just $58,990 total – comfortably below the Daytona EV’s starting price of $91,900. As a bonus, you get a liftback with five doors instead of a two-door coupe.

The range-topping Charger Sixpack Scat Pack goes 0-60 mph (0-96.6 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and runs a quarter-mile in 12.2 seconds. It doesn’t hit its speed limit until 285 km/h (177 mph). The all-electric Daytona Scat Pack is faster off the line with 3.3 seconds and boasts a 11.5-second quarter-mile, but cannot go any faster than 217 km/h (135 mph). The Standard Output lowers the top speed to 270 km/h (164 mph), which is still plenty.

Back when it was launched in 2024, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack cost from $73,985. It had a cheaper entry-level version called R/T at first, but neither sold well. Dodge ultimately axed the R/T and dropped the Daytona Scat Pack price to be almost on par with its ICE cousin.

As of summer 2025, the gas-powered Charger lineup is available in liftback and coupe variants without any engine limitations.
