Polestar 2 gets mild updates for 2025

The all-electric Polestar 2 liftback has been slightly improved for the next model year.

Compared to the pre-facelift version (see video), the newcomer is available in a new sand-colored finish with 20-inch Performance wheels and MicroTech textured upholstery. All three are listed as options. The infotainment system stays largely the same, but runs much faster thanks to a latest-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, the company says.

For the first time on record, Polestar 2 buyers can option it with a 14-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system pumping out up to 1,350W. Last but not least, the 70-kWh battery pack by CATL is now standard for all versions of the car in all regions where it is available, including the cheap RWD spec.

Prices in Germany start from €49,000.
