For the first time in a while, the Porsche 911 Carrera S is once again obtainable with a six-speed manual transmission in the United States. Prices start from $167,100 for the coupe and $181,000 for the convertible version.
Like its standard counterpart equipped with an eight-speed PDK transmission, the Carrera S MT Package utilizes a 3.0-liter flat-plane turbo engine to send 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW) to the rear wheels. It includes some additional equipment, such as rear-wheel steering, new suspension springs for a 10mm (0.4-inch) reduction in ride height, and centerlock wheels.
From the visual perspective, the manual 911 looks identical to its PDK cousin except for minor front bumper styling tweaks. Customers may pay extra to get decals and puddle lamps schematically depicting the car’s shifter gate.
The first deliveries are planned for late 2026.
