Ram 1500 Ramcharger presents specs

The Ram 1500 Ramcharger truck running on plug-in hybrid power was introduced around 18 months ago, but has yet to ship.

The company has now revealed its principal performance numbers. The powertrain output maxes out at 663 PS (654 hp / 488 kW), just a bit under the originally promised 672 PS (663 hp / 494 kW). Sprinting from zero to 96.6 km/h (60 miles per hour) takes 4.5 seconds instead of the original target of 4.4. On the upside, the truck supports higher charging power – 175 kW instead of the planned 145.

Sales remain penciled in for the second half of 2025.
