Maxus T90 pickup launched in China with an asymmetrical cabin

SAIC Group has started offering its Maxus T90 pickup truck on its domestic market. Prices range from 129,800 Yuan for a minimal spec to 299,800 Yuan for a top trim with a 177-PS (175-hp / 130-kW) electric powertrain and 535 km (332 miles) of NEDC range.

Powering the main spec is a 2.0-liter diesel turbo rated at 163 PS (161 hp / 120 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). A more powerful option comes in the shape of a bi-turbo diesel good for 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft). You can choose between six-speed manual and automatic for transmission and RWD/AWD, although the latter is only available in select trim levels.

The cabin has a 10.25-inch digital dash cluster and a 12-inch central display. All controls and touchscreens are slightly turned to face the driver, resulting in an asymmetrical feel to the interior.
