Toyota says GR Supra won’t retire when Z4 does

Rumors have been circulating for a while that the BMW Z4 would see its 7-year production cycle at the Magna Steyr factory in Austria come to an end in 2025, dragging the related A90 Supra lineup down with it.

As it now turns out, the Japanese company has no plans to discontinue the sports car. According to the CEO of Toyota Australia, the model will continue to be made even when the German car that inspired it retires. He even hinted at a possible next generation.
