Bugatti pieces together the last €5M Divo hypercar

The French supercar builder has just handed the last production example of its Divo coupe over to its buyer, rounding off a series of 40 units priced starting from €5,000,000.

The model was named after Albert Divo, a famous GP racing driver from France whose star rose in the 1930s. It was introduced at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

While essentially a redesigned Chiron, the Divo nonetheless offers a different aerodynamic profile with a wide front spoiler and large air intakes, a carbon-coated intercooler, and only minimal noise proofing. It weighs in 35 kg (77 lbs) under the Chiron at 1,966 kg (4,334 lbs).

An eight-liter, quad-turbo under the hood propels the track projectile forward with 1,500 PS (1,479 hp / 1,103 kW), making it sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.4 seconds and up to a top speed of 380 km/h (236 mph).
