Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade

UK-based car company Garagisti has published the first images of its upcoming supercar, GP1. It features a monocoque cabin designed by a Formula 1 specialist, a V12 built by renowned engineers and an exterior penned by Angel Guerra of Bugatti-Rimac fame. Only 25 units will be made and offered from £2.45 million (U.S. $3.3 million).
According to the official announcement, the car proposes a fresh take on such iconic “tapered” vehicles as the Lancia Stratos Zero. It also has obvious Ferrari and Lamborghini styling cues, although those aren’t mentioned. The interior is deliberately basic with not a single display in sight, but plenty of physical buttons on a slim center console looking like it came from a Porsche Carrera GT.
The monocoque was designed by Dexet, and the V12 was built by Italtecnica, a famous restomod builder. The 6.6-liter mill can rev up to 9,000 RPM and outputs 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) alongside 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. An Xtrac six-speed manual transmission carries the torque to the wheels. We don’t have any acceleration figures yet, but with a curb weight of just one metric ton (around 2,200 lbs), it should be a track weapon like no other.
Preorders are already running. The first 12 buyers will be able to participate in the final design stage of their GP1 example, picking custom equipment and trim as they see fit.
