1,300-HP Chevy Camaro dragster goes under the hammer

A 2016 Chevrolet COPO Camaro, number two in a batch of only 69 such vehicles approved for NHRA drag racing, has found a new owner the other day.

The car, which is not street-legal, used to be driven by Erica Lee Enders in numerous drag racing events. With a heavily modified 5.7-liter V8 and a huge supercharger on top, it pushed 1,317 PS (1,300 hp / 969 kW) to the wheels. The listing pointed out that it had a quarter-mile time close to eight seconds.
