Fiat has attended a recent Stellantis investor event with two concept vehicles: a mid-size crossover SUV called the Grizzly and its coupe-like counterpart known as the Grizzly Fastback.
Both are slated for production on the American corporation’s Smart Car platform, the same chassis that underpins the current Fiat Grande Panda. It’s also used by the latest Opel Frontera and the Citroen C3 lineup. We don’t have any technical details yet, but the Smart Car architecture supports the entire spectrum of powertrains from ICE to BEV.
There’s only one pic from the presentation available so far. Based on its, the Grizzly features narrow-slit headlights and an exterior design typical of a modern urban SUV. The Fastback has its titular sloping rear end, but otherwise looks almost identical to its more traditional sibling. Unofficial reports claim that both vehicles are no longer than 4.5 meters (177 inches), but will still be obtainable with three seat rows and up to seven seats in the cabin.
As a global product, the Fiat Grizzly is primarily intended for the EU, African, Middle Eastern and Latin American markets. It’s scheduled for reveal at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026, and will be manufactured at a Stellantis factory in Morocco.
