Jaguar ex-designer drams about an E-Type for the modern times

Ian Callum, former Design Director of Jaguar and current CEO of Callum Design, has posted a handful of renderings previewing his own vision of a modern E-Type Roadster.

With modern LED lights all around and alloy wheels instead of the vintage spoked rims the original E-Type rode on, the concept looks nothing like the original. It does a decent job staying retro in the cabin, though – not a single digital display or touchscreen in sight.

According to Callum, he will consider bringing the concept to life if his company gets enough feedback from interested buyers. In the meantime, Jaguar is running its own E-Type continuation program (see video).
