Get ready to splurge on a plane of you want this master-crafted G-Class

Carlex Design, from Poland, has united efforts with ScaleWings, from Austria, to produce a highly exclusive and valuable series of Mercedes-AMG G 63 SUVs bundled with light private jets.

The off-roader comes bundled with the aircraft and shares the design theme with it. Both wear a Racing Green paintjob with shiny aluminum accents and black-and-white top stripes. The interiors are awash with vintage brown leather and echo one another with plane-like trim in the G-Class and matching seats.

Performance is the one area where the Geländewagen falls behind. It packs 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) and sprints from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds, which is by no means bad but doesn’t compare to the dynamics of the ScaleWings plane. The latter is a replica of the P-51 Mustang fighter jet that took part in the WWII.

More info on the collaboration can be found by the name of the project, “Carlex x ScaleWings G-51”. Only three SUVs and planes will be delivered in the trim shown here, known as the Emerald Racer. Later on, the companies plan to launch Shadow Comet and Crimson Phantom trims. All prices are private, and we suspect they reside firmly in the seven-digit EUR realm.
