Lexus RX goes black in Russia

Lexus has unveiled yet another Black Vision model: the RX SUV meant exclusively for Russia. Let’s see what it is about.

Starting with the features, the list mentions ten airbags, blind zone monitoring, rear traffic detection, LED headlights, and 235/55 R20 tires. The car is trimmed to the Premium spec and rocks a rather modest-looking body kit, a dark radiator grille, and black side mirror caps. The 20-inch wheels stay stock except for the Bronze finish, and the cabin and powertrain also make do without changes other than those mentioned above.

The special edition is available in RX 300 AWD and RX 350 AWD specs. The former offers a 2.0-liter turbo-four mill rated at 238 PS (235 hp / 175 kW) and sprints 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. The latter takes advantage of a 3.5-liter V6 good for 299 PS (295 hp / 220 kW) and performs the same exercise in 8.2 seconds. Both max out at 200 km/h (124 miles per hour).
