Novitec unveils its full Ferrari 296 tuning program

The renowned German tuner has already shown us lightly modded Ferrari 296 examples before, but they were just that – a couple of aero parts and exhaust system mods and that’s all. Today, it has revealed a much more comprehensive tuning package for the model.

For starters, the company proposes widening the front arches by roughly 2.3 inches (60 mm) and the rear arches by 4.7 inches (120 mm). The wider look gets complemented with a new front bumper, a splitter integrated into that bumper, carbon side sills and matching hood trims.

Things get decidedly livelier at the rear end, too, with the biggest change coming in the shape of a rear wing. Ferrari generally doesn’t like putting too much wing on its road-legal vehicles, but Novitec argues that it is needed to maximize downforce at the rear axle. Purists can eschew it in favor of a more understated-looking ducktail spoiler or a small trim for the stock wing.

A look inside the arches reveals a set of Vossen 22-inch forged wheels. As for the hybrid powertrain, it gets sporty catalysts and a new exhaust manifold, pushing the output up to 868 PS (856 hp / 638 kW). For the best in thermal regulation, Novitec offers a heat-resistant exhaust system fabricated from Inconel with gold-coated finisher tips.

The kit is called N-Largo and doesn’t come with a public price tag attached.
