Pagani unveils the Huayra Imola

Without too much hype and noise, hypercar maker Pagani has introduced a special new version of its Pagani Huayra, called ‘Imola’ (previously also ‘Dragon’). The production run will be limited to five vehicles, and the first one will go to Oleg Egorov, founder of Russian auto customization and tuning shop TopCar Design.

The first sample sports a gorgeous visible-carbon body with orange highlights. The original Imola/Dragon debuted at a private meeting called the Supercar Owners Circle in Switzerland.

Compared to all other Huayra vehicles, the newcomer boasts unparalleled aerodynamic performance. A new rear wing, a tailfin, a roof scoop and a rear diffuser all contribute to it.

Technical specs remain undisclosed. We suppose that the 6.0-liter twin-turbo AMG V12 engine of the Imola is at least as good as that of the Huayra Roadster BC (802 hp / 598 kW, 1,050 Nm / 774 lb-ft). This puts it above the Huayra BC Coupe (max. 800 hp / 596 kW, 1,000 Nm / 738 lb-ft) and the standard Huayra (700 hp / 522 kW, 1,000 Nm / 738 lb-ft), making it the strongest vehicle on the lineup.
