Tank 300 facelift unveiled in Shanghai

The new SUV doesn’t look any different from the old version, but only until you catch a glimpse of the interior.

The infotainment display now measures 14.6 inches across instead of 12.3, and is no longer integrated in the dashboard. The 12-speaker audio system on board benefits from active noise canceling, and the driver’s seat can do massage now.

Like before, buyers in China are choosing from three available powertrains. There’s a 2.0-liter petrol engine rated at 227 PS (224 hp / 167 kW), a 2.4-liter diesel with 184 PS (181 hp / 135 kW), and a plug-in hybrid system good for 408 PS (402 hp / 300 kW). Both non-hybrid options come with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
