Volkswagen ID. Evo shows up ahead of Shanghai premiere

The Volkswagen ID. Evo is a fully electric crossover utility vehicle co-developed between VW and Anhui at their joint enterprise in China.

The car is slated to debut at the Auto Shanghai show coming up in a week. It will debut in the concept status to let us know what the company’s ID family of EVs will look like in the near future. A production version of the same car is also in the plans, but we will need to wait another few months for it to arrive. Sales of the ID. Evo production car are penciled in for late 2025.

Volkswagen announced a trio of Shanghai show premieres a week ago. All three new cars will be sold primarily on the Chinese domestic market.
