Alpine A110 bows out of production with two final editions

Alpine has opened pre-order books for two final versions of its A110 sports car. Both will be upgraded to the MY2025 spec and trimmed in celebration of the French automaker’s 70th anniversary.

The main special edition is called the R 70. It is based on the regular A110 R version and commands its 1.8-liter engine with its stock 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW). Buyers will be getting exclusive color options for the body and the brake calipers, bespoke interiors and special edition plaques. Carbon-fiber wheels will be available as an option.

Only 770 units will be made and offered starting from €122,500. Out of these 770 units, 210 will be released in a particularly exclusive batch called Tricolour Edition. It will consist of 70 blue, 70 red and 70 white cars painted in the colors of the French national flag. They will also wear a special anniversary badge made of carbon fiber on the roof.

In related news, Alpine announced last week that it would no longer be producing S and GT trims. Customers still interested in the A110 before it gets replaced with an EV in 2026 will now have to go for the pricey GTS spec, which even has a unique carbon body kit listed under options.
