Vintage Chevy truck becomes a fine $190k restomod

Vanguard Motors has posted a 1954 Chevrolet 3100 for sale for an eye-watering amount of $189,900. Needless to mention, it’s been transformed into a sporty urban ride and a fashion statement on wheels.

Working on the restomod, an uncredited tuner has completely restored all body panels and repainted the result in an off-white color that the original wore 72 years ago. The truck bed was lined with natural oakwood, and white 18-inch wheels filled out the arches.

The interior received an overhaul in natural leather, metal and textile. In turn, the stock engine made room for a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 mated to all four wheels via an automatic transmission. The listing doesn’t mention the output, but the mill in question should be good for 406 PS (400 hp / 300 kW) before any tuning.

Considering that the whole pickup weighs less than 1.5 metric tons (3,300 lbs), it must also be a hoot to drive on well-maintained roads. Hydraulic power steering, slammed multilink suspension and performance brakes are guaranteed to add to the fun, too.

The odometer displays less than 6,000 kilometers (3,700 miles) since restoration.
