Geely Galaxy M9 lands in China with most specs and pricing

Geely is already taking preorders for its zero-emission Galaxy M9. The full-size luxury SUV runs on hybrid power, has six versions to choose from and costs 193,800–258,800 CNY (27,145–36,350 USD).

Out of the six versions announced, only five are available for ordering. Interestingly enough, the cheapest 2WD variant still has no powertrain details listed for it despite being available. On the other side of the spectrum, there is a three-motor top spec consisting of a 1.5-liter engine and two e-motors. It makes 870 PS (858 hp / 640 kW) and can sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.5 seconds. A 41.5-kWh battery gives it 210 km (130 miles) of all-electric range.

Most FWD versions are listed with an electric range of 230 km (143 miles). The two cheapest specs come with a smaller 18.4-kWh pack only sufficient for 100 km (62 miles). One fueled to the max, the longest-range spec can travel as far as 1,500 km (932 miles) without any top-ups, Geely claims.

On the exterior side of things, the SUV is 5,205 mm (203.3 inches) long, 1,999 mm (78.1 inches) wide and 1,800 mm (70.3 inches) tall with 3,030 mm (118.4 inches) between the axles. Dual-chamber air suspension allows for clearance adjustments within a range of 95 mm (3.7 inches). The trunk fits 328 liters (11.6 cubic feet), but fold down the seats and you will get 2,171 liters (76.6 cubic feet).

The interior layout is fixed with three rows of two seats per row. All six come equipped with heating and power adjustments, while the front row additionally gets massage and ventilation. The dashboard houses a 12.66-inch instrument display complemented by a HUD and a 30-inch widescreen multimedia display large enough to be used by the driver and the front passenger simultaneously.

The passengers in the back get their own, ceiling-mounted 17.3-inch screen. Options include a 27-speaker audio system, a 9.1-liter mini-fridge built into the center console, and the G-Pilot H5 autopilot package. It uses a roof-mounted LiDAR and dual Nvidia Drive Orin X chipsets to process data at a flow rate of 508 TOPS.
