Lancia teases Gamma EV

The Lancia Gamma is a crossover utility vehicle scheduled for launch in 2026, and this is its first photo.

It shows a rear end with a vertical brake light in the middle. Lancia had shown a similar design in its product strategy before, but it had been called “Aurelia” back then. The name Gamma was used by the Italian automaker for a coupe and a fastback sedan in 1976–1984.

There is no explicit mention of a powertrain, but the company reveals that the car will be based on the STLA Medium platform, which lends itself best for all-electric setups. The production is slated to take place at the same factory in Melfi, Italy where Stellantis currently produces its Jeep Compass and Renegade models.
