Video: Audi R8 vs. Lambo Huracan Performante vs. Tuned Nissan GT-R

The YouTube team of CarWOW has once again piled up three supercars in a quarter-mile drag race, a rolling-start run, and a brake test.

The Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracan Performante both approach the start line with their stock 5.2-liter V10 engines mated to seven-speed pre-selective DCTs. The Italian track weapon weighs in at 1,382 kg (3,047 lbs) and has 640 PS (631 hp / 471 kW) at its disposal along with 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. Its German relative enjoys several upgrades that bring it up to 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft). It weighs 180 kg (around 400 lbs) more than the Lambo, but compensates for that with its £131,000 starting price, nearly a half of the £215,000 price tag of the Huracan.

For its own part, the Nissan GT-R features improvements in its intake, exhaust and fuel systems, as well as a comprehensive ECU tune that convinces its 3.8-liter V8 TT to pump out 670 PS (661 hp / 493 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque. Weighing in at 1,750 kg (3,858 lbs), the Godzilla is heavier than both of its rivals, but it is also the most affordable of the three at £86,000.

The outcomes of the races proved very close to each other, with a different vehicle winning in each category. Watch and find out how they compared!
