An old Porsche 911 track tool goes on sale in Canada

A rare 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera “Outlaw” is currently up for grabs in Canada. The car was 29th in a series of just 395 units produced for North American market, and it packs plenty of upgrades.

The seller admits that the sporty-looking coupe has spent most of its life on the racetrack, which of course affected its performance. Since mid-1990s, it has been receiving aftermarket care, including the Metallic Red paintjob, custom Porsche 964-style bumpers, and extended wheel arches. It also gained a massive rear wing and a set of 18-inch Fiske wheels with Toyo Proxes R888 tires.

An engine swap rounds off technical modifications: the track tool draws its power from the 3.3-liter opposite-six mill of the 1989 Porsche 930. The tuned motor links to a five-speed manual gearbox and RWD, and the exact performance figures are unknown.

Novelty inside the car includes Recaro Pole Position seats with six-point safety harnesses, a roll cage, a WEVO shift lever and a compact-sized Momo steering wheel.
