Alfa Romeo 8C goes manual

A while ago, renowned Italian tuning shop Officine Fioravanti declared the intention to build an Alfa Romeo 8C with a manual transmission. Fast-forward to today, and the car isn’t just completed – it has run a 2,000-km (1,242-mile) trip from Switzerland all the way to Marbella, Spain without issues.

We aren’t sure what gearbox model it is, but it features a nice-looking wooden knob and a gated design protecting the transmission from accidental shifts. Aside from it, the unique Alfa Romeo “8CM” features FIA-approved carbon-backed seats, Öhlins electronic suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes and bespoke wheels. Despite all the mods, the car manages to weigh 70 kilos (154 pounds) less than before.
