Scout puts range figures on its EV lineup

Scout CEO Scott Keogh has revealed some specifics about the electric SUVs and trucks that the company plans to start making in 2027.

Apparently, the automaker plans to use NMC lithium-ion batteries targeting up to 563 km (350 miles) of range per charge in its BEV lineup. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) lineup will make use of lighter LFP batteries still good for approximately 240 km (150 miles) of fully electric range. With the tank filled to the max, they will exceed 800 km (500 miles).

Diff locks and ESP will be standard across the range, and those who want the best suspension will be able to order an adjustable air-ride setup.
