VW Taos Basecamp Concept previews accessories

The Volkswagen Basecamp lineup of concept cars stays true to a simple formula: it is made up of normal production cars spruced up with countless OEM options and accessories. The Taos is the latest addition to the list.

The list of aftermarket goodies soon to be available for the CUV includes an H&R LP lift kit, Traverse MX wheels shod in Falken Widepeak A/T Trail tires, a roof rack, and Baja Designs LED lighting. A special rack in the truck makes carrying a wide assortment of equipment and gear easier.

To stand out from the crowd, the Taos Basecamp rocks aggressive fenders at both ends, door overlays, and a unique paint scheme with the roof and the hood finished in matte black and the accents done in orange.
