Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade

Following a teaser from several days ago, Bugatti has fully revealed its newest hypercar. Called the Brouillard, it’s based on the Chiron chassis and exists in singular.
It’s also the first vehicle built by the French automaker in accordance with its Solitaire program targeting the most devoted brand fans interested in highly customized vehicles. That’s why the Brouillard doesn’t resemble the Chiron it’s based upon as much as it does the Mistral Roadster, especially in the front fascia and headlight departments. It also sports a rather curvy and flowing body with an emphasized aero kit. The fenders and the side sills have winglets on them, and the roof houses two air scoops feeding the W16 engine at the back. The a-pillars are blacked out for a “floating top” look, and there is a sporty-looking crease in the roof running all the way down to the hood.
The rear end is slightly more protruded than that of the Mistral, but the taillights seem to come from that model. The rear fenders are impressively large and form a stylistic whole with a ducktail spoiler. Custom exhaust tips round off the look.
The name Brouillard references company founder Ettore Bugatti’s favorite racing horse. More nods to the animal can be found in the cabin, where equine silhouettes adorn the door panels. The aluminum transmission selector has a transparent window in it with a glass horse head inside. The rest of the cabin is trimmed with green leather and color-matched carbon fiber, as well as tartan upholstery custom-tailored in Paris.
The owner of the car is none other than Michel Perridon, world’s largest collector of Bugatti vehicles currently based in the Netherlands. The automaker says the seats were also custom-made with Perridon’s body measurements in mind.
Like all upcoming vehicles from the Solitaire lineup, the Brouillard has no chassis, suspension or drivetrain tweaks of any kind. The company reckons it can deliver two such vehicles per year, at most, each example stylistically unique but running on stock Bugatti power.
All pricing info is being kept secret.
