Kia EV4 boasts a fake gearbox & rev limiter

Kia’s battery-powered EV4 will go to some lengths to appease the more traditionally-minded drivers.

All trim versions of the car will imitate a gearbox for those looking for a more classical driving feel. The driver-focused GT-Line trim will also introduce an “RPM limiter” of sorts. The details are lacking at this point.

Kia says even choosy drivers with decades of experience will be able to feel more immersed in the process with these EV design improvements.
