Novelties
Lancia’s new Ypsilon hatchback has undergone a mild facelift a year after launch.
The Hybrid spec now delivers 110 PS (108 hp / 81 kW) to the wheels instead of 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW). The company says that the 1.2-liter turbo and the electric motor stay the same – the power gains are all courtesy of an ECU update.
The all-electric version stays at its standard 156 PS (154 hp / 115 kW), but benefits from a reworked battery pack and control unit software. As a result, it is now WLTP-certified for 425 kilometers (264 miles) of range instead of 403 km (250 miles).
Ordering is already open in Europe.
