Mazda CX-5 flashes exterior ahead of debut

The first teasers of the next-generation Mazda CX-5 aren’t very revealing, but we will see it in its full glory next Thursday, July 10, 2025.

As you may remember, a spy photo posted online last month showed a very similar-looking car. It seems that Mazda designers decided not to tweak the appearance of the new CX-5 too much – it’s quite a recognizable and popular model as is.

All we know on official terms from Mazda is that the new SUV will be more spacious, practical and technologically advanced. A rumor claims it is coming to the market with a cutting-edge hybrid powertrain designed in the house; this remains to be confirmed.
