VW reports falling sales and profits
Volkswagen Group has just reported selling 8.3% less cars in Q3 2024 than in the same period of 2023, as well as missing out on 41.7% of the profit compared to that year.
Year-to-date profit decrease has so far amounted to 20.5%. Volkswagen dealerships have moved 6,762,000 vehicles from January to September, 4.4% down from the first nine months of the preceding year.
Unsurprisingly, Volkswagen’s CFO Arno Antlitz has used these dismal statistics to justify shutting down factories in Germany, firing the workers and cutting wages worldwide.

Maybe the electric cars are in falling in sales

Taxi drivers will most likely not prefer electric cars because electric cars take time to charge. Electric cars take around 1 hour to charge, but within that time they could have had 2 or 3 passengers.
