Zero-emission Range Rover Sport just got caught on the ‘Ring

Carscoops believes that the refreshed Range Rover Sport is due out by the end of 2026, bringing ICE, hybrid and BEV powertrain options to the table.

Although the camo wrap still conceals the smaller details, one can already tell that the 2027 Range Rover Sport gets a redesigned front end and a new rear end. This includes the headlights and the taillights, while the body panels and proportions appear unchanged.

Everything suggests that interior updates will be minimal and mostly software-based. The infotainment hardware might get an upgrade, but anything major sounds unlikely. Same goes for the existing powertrains – they will probably carry over with minimal tweaks for better economy and lower emissions.

As for the EV variant, it may end up with the same dual-motor powertrain as the full-blown Range Rover flagship. That one outputs 550 PS (542 hp / 405 kW).

Carscoops argues that only production-close vehicles go out on the Nürburgring for tests, and we are inclined to agree. Looks like the premiere is right around the corner.
