Lamborghini has announced that a new Temerario Polizia will join the Italian State Police force. This hybrid supercar, unveiled at the company's Sant'Agata Bolognese headquarters, is intended for the emergency transport of organs and medical supplies. The vehicle possesses 907 horsepower and a top speed of 213 miles per hour.
This addition marks another instance of a Lamborghini joining the Italian State Police fleet. Over the past 22 years, a total of six Lamborghinis have been integrated into the force. Previous models include a Gallardo in 2004, followed by a Gallardo LP 560-4 and a Huracán. In 2023, a Urus Performante also entered state service.
The police Lamborghinis have been utilized in over 200 organ transport missions across Italy. Beyond medical transport, these vehicles have also participated in more than 1500 road safety education events, promoting safe driving practices.
